Company History

Fürniss GmbH was founded in 1985 and moved from Mittelpfad to Gewerbering in 1988. In 1990, we introduced an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, and a year later, we moved into our current company building. 1999 was a significant year: our first homepage went online, and we were certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001. In 2008, we expanded our warehouse, and in 2009, Annika and Stephanie Fürniss were appointed managing directors. In 2013, we installed a photovoltaic system and participated in the Fastener Fair in Stuttgart for the first time. In 2015, we celebrated our 30th anniversary and switched to a new ERP system. In 2017, we introduced a new CAQ system. In 2020, a generational change occurred, with Annika and Stephanie Fürniss taking over the management, while Fred and Hannelore Fürniss retired.
